Boppudi is a village in the tehsil/mandal of Chilakaluripet in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh.

Along with Boppaiah different communities people (Mala, Madiga, Kamma, Reddy, Muslim, Mangali, Chakali) arrived to this place. Those who came and started to develop the Boppudi, they put there surname as Boppudi. That is the reason all communities from this village have surname Boppudi.
